Who we are

Our story

Scaledex Limited is a digital product agency in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We started as a small team of engineers and designers building websites, web platforms and mobile apps, first from an office in Banani and now from Gulshan, for clients in Bangladesh and, before long, for organisations abroad.

Much of our early work was in education technology: question-and-answer apps, quiz and exam platforms, and an online course platform for a career-training provider. Alongside it came e-commerce and logistics tools, a corporate site for a startup community and, in 2020, an online event platform for a non-profit whose annual fundraising gala could not be held in person. That mix taught us to build for real peaks, real users and real deadlines.

From the beginning we ran what we built. Cloud infrastructure on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure and DigitalOcean; Kubernetes and Docker; Terraform and Ansible; continuous delivery with Jenkins; Kafka and Elasticsearch where a product needed them; Stripe where it needed to take money. That operational depth is still what separates us from studios that hand over a design and a zip file.

Today we design, build and scale all things digital: research and UX, visual design and brand, web and mobile engineering, cloud and DevOps, marketing, content and search. Scale up, team up, innovate: that is the shape of every engagement, whether you need a whole product team for six months or one specialist for a week.

We are deliberately small. Every project is led by someone who has shipped products before, the people you meet at the start are the people who do the work, and we say no to work we are not the right team for.

How we work

  • We write it down

    Scope, decisions, changes and status live in documents you can read, not in someone’s memory.

  • We ship in milestones

    Working software every one to two weeks. If you cannot click on it, it is not progress.

  • We own the whole stack

    Design, code, cloud and monitoring are one responsibility. There is no gap for a problem to fall through.

  • We measure

    Performance, accessibility and search health are checked by machines on every build and reviewed by people before launch.

  • We say no early

    If a feature, a deadline or a technology choice is a mistake, you hear it in the first meeting, not the last.
